The Clusia rosea 'White Star', also called Variegated Signature Tree or Autograph tree, displays large, thick, fleshy, and shiny leaves beautifully variegated with deep green and creamy white. A horticultural cultivar derived from parent species of the Caribbean tropical forests, this spectacular variety ranks among the most resilient and graphic indoor tropical plants in the catalog.
Its most surprising feature: its thick, almost waxy leaves have earned it the nickname “signature tree,” because marks made with a sharp object remain visible for a long time, almost permanently. The 'White Star' cultivar differs from the classic Clusia rosea by its broad, irregular creamy variegation that turns each leaf into a unique pattern.
