Discover it in our cactus and succulents collection and in our indoor succulents selection.
Contents of the set
Each Cactus Mix contains 6 assorted varieties in a Ø12 cm pot — the composition varies according to seasonal availability, always with complementary shapes and textures.
- Varied shapes: columns, globes, paddles, bent forms — very different plant architectures that enhance each other.
- Contrasting textures: long or short spines, smooth, ribbed, or tubercled skin.
- Identical needs: all share the same requirements for full sun and very low watering.
Photos are for reference only — varieties vary by season. Also discover our succulent mix to combine cacti and fleshy plants.
Exposure & location
Cacti love sun and warmth — the more direct light they receive, the stronger their natural shapes and colors become.
- Exposure: full sun to bright direct light — south-facing windowsill or sunny balcony.
- Ideal: very exposed window, conservatory, balcony, or Mediterranean terrace.
- Temperature: 18 to 30 °C — tolerate heat but dislike cold and humidity.
- Humidity: low to none — prefer dry environments.
In summer, gradually acclimate them to direct outdoor sun over a few weeks to avoid burns on skin used to indoor light.
Watering & care
Cacti are the least demanding plants when it comes to watering — they store water in their tissues and withstand drought perfectly. Check our watering guide to adopt the right rhythm.
- Watering: very low — water only when the substrate is completely dry.
- Frequency: every 3 to 4 weeks in summer, almost none in winter.
- Substrate: essential — special cactus soil or a mix of soil + sand + perlite.
- Golden rule: always water at the base, never on the plant — water on the skin promotes rot.
In winter, almost stop watering — cacti enter dormancy and only need light and warmth.
Decor ideas & plant combinations
Their geometric shapes and varied textures naturally create a sculptural composition — plant objects that work well alone or in groups.
- In combination: pair them with an Opuntia rubescens or a Crassula tenelli to enrich the composition with even more contrasting shapes and textures.
- Ideal decorative pots: terracotta, concrete, or matte ceramic — natural and mineral materials match the arid and graphic character of cacti.
- In arrangement: group them on a tray or in a planter with decorative sand for an instant desert chic look.
Verdeia tips
- Handle with care — cactus spines can be very sharp. Use thick gloves or tweezers when repotting or moving them. Wrapping a newspaper around the pot is a simple and effective technique to hold the plant without getting pricked.
- Never leave a saucer full of water — cactus roots hate stagnant moisture which quickly causes root rot. Always empty the saucer after watering and use a very draining substrate with a pot that has drainage holes.
- Slightly toxic if ingested — some cacti contain mildly irritating substances if swallowed. Keep them out of reach of pets and young children.

Our Verdeia commitments
FAQ – Everything to know before adopting your Verdeia plant
How are my plants prepared before shipping?
All our plants are selected from our European partner nurseries. Before shipping, they are watered, cleaned, and protected with breathable, secure packaging. Each package is designed to ensure your plant arrives in perfect health, without any transport-related stress.
Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Shipping is done within 48 business hours, with tracked delivery within 2 to 5 business days. Delivery costs €5.60 — free for orders over €50. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the package is shipped.
What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
