🌿 2 Peperomia with contrasting foliage • 🍃 Upright + trailing habit • ☀️ Indirect light • 💧 Minimal watering • 📏 H15 cm | Pot Ø10.5 cm each • 🐾 Non-toxic
This Peperomia duo brings together two varieties with opposite characters, both native to the tropical forests of South America — one with large, thick, shiny leaves and one with small, round leaves on trailing stems. Two very distinct shapes, equally easy to care for, creating an instantly complementary decorative effect. H15 cm | Pot Ø10.5 cm per plant.
Non-toxic to pets, minimal watering. Exact composition varies depending on availability. Discover more in our complete Peperomia collection.
A complementary Peperomia duo
This duo pairs two Peperomias with distinct and complementary foliage — two different shapes, equally easy to care for. Exact composition varies with seasonal availability.
Both varieties share the same needs — same watering, same light, same care. An easy duo to keep together.
Light & location
- Ideal light: moderate indirect light — office, shelf, windowsill without direct sun.
- Tolerates: light shade.
- Avoid: direct sun that burns the fleshy leaves.
- Temperature: 18–25 °C (64–77 °F).
Check out our room-by-room plant guide to find the best spot for your space.
Watering & care
- Watering: minimal — allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings.
- Frequency: about once every 2 weeks, less in winter.
- Drainage: pot must have drainage holes — excess water causes root rot.
- Fertilizer: very diluted liquid fertilizer, once every 6-8 weeks in spring and summer.
Peperomias store water in their fleshy leaves — they tolerate missed waterings very well. Overwatering is their only real risk. See our finger test guide to never overwater.
Decoration ideas
The contrast between the two types of foliage — large and glossy versus small and delicate — creates a naturally balanced plant composition.
- As a placed duo: place the two pots side by side on a shelf or desk — their contrasting shapes enhance each other.
- On a shelf edge: the trailing Peperomia naturally spills over the edge — a very decorative effect with no effort.
- As a gift: two plants, non-toxic, minimal care — a perfect green gift for all types of plant lovers. Find more ideas in our plant gift selection.
Verdeia tips
- Overwatering is their only risk — wait until the soil is completely dry before watering. Both varieties tolerate missed waterings well.
- Let the trailing Peperomia express itself — place it on a shelf edge to enjoy its naturally trailing habit. See our diagnosis guide to quickly identify any issues.
- 🐾 Non-toxic — Peperomias are completely safe for dogs and cats. Check out our plants and pets guide for more pet-friendly ideas.

FAQ – Everything to know before adopting your Verdeia plant
How are my plants prepared before shipping?
All our plants are selected from our European partner nurseries. Before shipping, they are watered, cleaned, and protected with breathable, secure packaging. Each package is designed to ensure your plant arrives in perfect health, without any transport-related stress.
Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Shipping is done within 48 business hours, with tracked delivery within 2 to 5 business days. Delivery costs €5.60 — free for orders over €50. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the package is shipped.
What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
