Frequently Asked Questions
How often should drought-resistant plants be watered? Watering every 2 to 3 weeks is enough for water-storing species like Sansevieria or Zamioculcas — let the soil dry out completely between waterings and space them further apart in winter.
Are these plants suitable for a home with pets? Some species in the set are slightly toxic if ingested — keep them out of reach of pets and young children as a precaution.

🌱 4 hardy and complementary plants • 🏙️ Heights ranging from 40 to 85 cm • 💧 Water every 2 to 3 weeks • ✨ Distinct graphic foliage • 📏 Decorative pot Ø14 to Ø17 cm
The set of 4 easy-care indoor plants brings together four hardy species with complementary foliage, selected for their resilience, graphic appeal, and compatible care in urban interiors. Low water needs and tolerant of indirect light, they create a structured mini jungle that is immediately decorative at varying heights.
All four are among the easiest plants to care for and the low-maintenance plants in the Verdeia catalog.
Set contents
- Sansevieria 'Laurentii' — H40 cm | Pot Ø14 cm: upright dark green leaves edged with golden yellow, graphic and architectural. The most tolerant plant to watering neglect in the catalog.
- Yucca elephantipes — H85 cm | Pot Ø17 cm: sculptural silhouette with long upright dark green leaves, vertical and tropical habit. Very drought and dry air resistant.
- Zamioculcas zamiifolia — H70 cm | Pot Ø17 cm: shiny dark green foliage on arching stems, elegant and very tolerant of low light. One of the toughest indoor plants available.
- Dracaena janet lind — H40 cm | Pot Ø14 cm: soft bright green foliage in an airy tuft, light and luminous habit. Perfect to add a touch of softness to the arrangement.
The composition varies according to seasonal availability — species may be replaced by equivalent varieties in terms of habit, color, and care.
Light & placement
These four plants share the same tolerance for indirect light, making them especially suitable for apartments without ideal sunlight. To optimize their placement, check out our guide on 10 easy plants for city dwellers.
- Light: bright indirect or soft partial shade — protected from direct sun behind glass.
- Locations: living room, office, entryway, or well-lit bedroom.
- Arrangement: vary heights — Yucca at the back, Zamioculcas in the middle, Sansevieria and Dracaena in front.
These plants tolerate dry air and air conditioning very well — ideal for offices and apartments with continuous heating or air conditioning.
Watering & care
The four plants in the set are selected for their tolerance to missed watering — they store water in their leaves or rhizomes and withstand dry periods without damage. To never overwater again, see our guide on watering indoor plants.
- Frequency: every 2 to 3 weeks depending on the season — allow the soil to dry well between waterings.
- In winter: water even less — once a month is enough for Sansevieria and Zamioculcas.
- Cleaning: wipe leaves with a soft damp cloth to revive their shine and promote photosynthesis.
- Fertilizer: a diluted universal fertilizer once a month in spring and summer is sufficient for the whole arrangement.
Decor ideas & plant combinations
The four plants in the set cover three distinct height levels — naturally creating a structured ensemble that needs no additional plants to work visually.
- For a ready-to-go green office corner, place the Yucca in the background, the Zamioculcas in the middle, and the Sansevieria and Dracaena in front — the three levels create a dense and balanced composition effortlessly, as suggested in our guide on common indoor plant mistakes and how to avoid them.
- For a unified design look, dress the pots with ceramic decorative pots in the same color range — terracotta, anthracite, or matte white — to visually unify very distinct foliage.
- To enrich the composition, add a Calathea Orbifolia or a Spathiphyllum — their softer, rounder foliage contrasts with the upright graphic leaves of the Yucca and Sansevieria.
- As a ready-to-gift set, this box forms a complete ensemble that is immediately decorative — to be offered with a gift wrap for a polished presentation.
Verdeia tips
- Rotate each pot a quarter turn every two weeks: plants naturally grow toward the light — regular rotation ensures balanced foliage on all sides without uneven growth, especially important for Yucca and Sansevieria.
- Cut dry or damaged leaves at the base: on Sansevieria and Dracaena, damaged leaves do not regrow — removing them cleanly at the base keeps the silhouette neat and encourages new shoots.
- Group the four plants to create a microclimate: even these dry-air tolerant species benefit from shared slight humidity — grouped together, they naturally support each other and reduce your misting needs.

Our Verdeia commitments
FAQ – Everything to know before adopting your Verdeia plant
How are my plants prepared before shipping?
All our plants are selected from our European partner nurseries. Before shipping, they are watered, cleaned, and protected with breathable, secure packaging. Each package is designed to ensure your plant arrives in perfect health, without any transport-related stress.
Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Shipping is done within 48 business hours, with tracked delivery within 2 to 5 business days. Delivery costs €5.60 — free for orders over €50. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the package is shipped.
What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
