Frequently Asked Questions
Can succulents be placed in a closed terrarium? No — succulents need circulating air and a substrate that dries quickly; an open or semi-open terrarium is suitable, but never an airtight container where stagnant moisture quickly causes rot.
How can you enhance the colors of succulents indoors? Expose them to bright direct light or take them outside during the warm season — Echeveria tips turn red, Sedum become orange, and Haworthia develop more stripes when exposed to strong sunlight.

🌵 9 assorted succulents • 🌞 Bright light to full sun • 💧 Water every 2-3 weeks • ✨ Varied shapes and textures • 📏 H10 cm | Pot Ø8.5 cm
This set of 9 assorted succulents brings together a graphic selection of small fleshy plants with very distinct silhouettes — Echeveria in rosette form, Crassula as a miniature tree, Haworthia in fan shape, Sedum or Kalanchoe — originating from the arid regions of Africa and America. Compact and sculptural, they naturally create a very graphic desert collection on a windowsill, desk, or decorative tray.
Perfect for bright spaces and busy city dwellers, these succulents are among the most resilient plants in the catalog — find other sizes in the cactus and succulents collection.
Light & Location
The succulents in this set thrive in bright light — this is their natural condition in their arid native zones and the key to intense colors and compact growth. They perfectly enhance very sunny windowsills among the bright light plants in the catalog.
- Light: bright to full sun — south or west-facing window, windowsill, sunny balcony.
- Warning: avoid harsh full sun behind glass in summer, which concentrates heat and burns the fleshy leaves.
- Haworthia: tolerate indirect light better — observe each plant individually.
- Temperature: 18 to 28 °C, protected from cold below 10 °C.
Exposed outdoors in the warm season, succulents naturally intensify their colors — Echeveria develop pinkish hues, Sedum turn slightly orange, creating an even more graphic look in the fall.
Watering & Care
Succulents store water in their fleshy leaves and always prefer dryness to excess moisture — a principle valid for all indoor fleshy plants.
- Frequency: every 2 to 3 weeks — water only when the substrate is completely dry.
- In winter: reduce to monthly watering — succulents enter dormancy.
- Substrate: very well-draining, cactus type — always empty excess water after watering.
- Cleaning: dust leaves with a dry brush — never spray directly, stagnant moisture between leaves causes spots and mold.
Observe each succulent individually rather than watering all at once — some species like Echeveria dry faster than Haworthia under the same light conditions.
Decor Ideas & Plant Combinations
Nine succulents with very distinct silhouettes are enough to create several very different decorative scenes — from minimalist desk arrangements to elaborate terrariums.
- For an elegant green desk, arrange 3 succulents with very distinct shapes — an Echeveria rosette, a Crassula tree, and a Haworthia fan — in small matte ceramic decorative pots in neutral colors: the variety of shapes is the main interest without any staging complexity.
- For a stylish centerpiece tray, group the 9 succulents on a light wood tray with fine sand — the different heights and textures naturally create a very graphic miniature landscape that requires no special care.
- To enrich the arrangement, combine some succulents from the set at the base of a larger Aloe vera or a more developed Crassula — the small ground-cover succulents and taller silhouettes create a very realistic desert perspective.
- In a collective terrarium, gather the 9 plants in a glass jar with sand, gravel, and activated charcoal — the very distinct shapes (rosette, fan, stem) create a living desert microcosm that is very easy to maintain.
Verdeia Tips
- Vary light exposure to observe color changes: in more intense light, Echeveria tips redden, Sedum turn orange — these color changes signal good health, not stress, and enhance the graphic character of the arrangement.
- Combine them in groups of 3 or 6 for a balanced composition: odd groups of very distinct shapes — rosette, fan, stem — visually create more dynamism and depth than a uniform row of identical succulents.
- Repot every 1 to 2 years in spring with fresh substrate: small 8.5 cm pots quickly saturate with mineral salts — regular repotting in renewed special cactus substrate maintains intense colors and healthy growth. Our guide on repotting plants details the steps.

Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Shipping is done within 48 business hours, with tracked delivery within 2 to 5 business days. Delivery costs €5.60 — free for orders over €50. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the package is shipped.
What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
