The Mix of 20 Succulents is a generous set of 20 varied succulent plants from arid and semi-arid regions around the world, selected from the genera Aloe, Crassula, Echeveria, Haworthia, Kalanchoe, and Sedum. Each plant stores water in its fleshy leaves to survive drought periods — an adaptation that makes them almost indestructible at home. Each set offers a unique mix of shapes, textures, and colors.

Which set to choose?
The Succulent Mix is available in several sizes depending on your project:
- Mix of 10 Succulents — discovery size ideal for starting out or creating a first arrangement. Ø5.5 cm | H7 cm each.
- Mix of 20 Succulents (this product) — versatile medium size, perfect for multiple arrangements or gifts. Ø5.5 cm | H7 cm each.
- Mix of 30 Succulents — XXL size for large installations, events, or ambitious decor projects. Ø5.5 cm | H7 cm each.
- Kokopot Hanging Succulents — trio of trailing succulents in kokodama. The original hanging version.
Why choose the set of 20? With 20 plants, you can create several arrangements at once, give some away and keep others, or test different placements and layouts without running out of plants.
Light & Location
Succulents love bright light — this is their main requirement. Without enough light, they become leggy and lose their characteristic colors.
- Exposure: full sun to partial shade — bright light is essential.
- Ideal: sunny windowsill, bright desk, well-lit shelf, or open terrarium.
- Temperature: 15 to 30 °C — tolerate variations well.
- Substrate: very well-draining — special cactus and succulent soil with perlite or coarse sand.
Each variety tolerates direct sun differently — Haworthia prefer partial shade, Echeveria and Sedum full sun. Watch and adjust if leaves turn red or brown.
Watering & Care
Succulents prefer to be forgotten — better to underwater than overwater. Excess water is the only real way to kill them. Always wait until the substrate is completely dry before watering.
- Watering: low — let the substrate dry completely between waterings.
- Frequency: about once every 2 weeks in spring-summer, once a month in winter.
- Drainage: essential — use pots with drainage holes and very well-draining substrate.
- Humidity: tolerate dry air — no misting needed.
- Fertilizer: every 4 to 6 weeks in spring-summer with diluted liquid cactus fertilizer.
In winter, monthly watering is enough — or even less. Roots rot much faster in winter when the plant is dormant.

Verdeia Tips
- Excess water is their only real danger — always wait until the substrate is completely dry before watering. When in doubt, wait another week. A succulent that doesn’t get water for 3 weeks will survive fine — a succulent whose roots rot in soggy substrate will not. Check our watering guide to master this habit.
- Easily propagate by leaf cuttings — gently detach a healthy leaf, let it dry for 24 hours in open air, then lay it flat on slightly moist substrate. Roots and a new plantlet will appear in a few weeks. Our propagation guide details all steps.
- Colors intensify with stress — exposed to strong sunlight or slight temperature changes, some varieties like Echeveria turn red or purple. This "reddening" is perfectly healthy and very decorative.

How are my plants prepared before shipping?
All our plants are selected from our European partner nurseries. Before shipping, they are watered, cleaned, and protected with breathable, secure packaging. Each package is designed to ensure your plant arrives in perfect health, without any transport-related stress.
Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Shipping is done within 48 business hours, with tracked delivery within 2 to 5 business days. Delivery costs €5.60 — free for orders over €50. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the package is shipped.
What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
