Planting & placement
The flower bulbs in this mix appreciate partial shade or sun for optimal blooming and vibrant colors. They easily adapt to different soil types as long as they are well-drained.
- Exposure: partial shade or sun for abundant flowering
- Ideal for: tiered flower beds, colorful borders, pots on balconies or terraces, window boxes, rock gardens
- Planting period: September to December
- Blooming period: February to July
- Flower height: 10 to 40 cm
- Planting depth: 2 to 3 times the height of the bulb
- Spacing: 5 to 15 cm depending on bulb size
- Soil: well-drained, rich in organic matter
- Temperature: frost-resistant, require a cold period to flower
Verdeia tip: to recreate the effect in the photo, plant the small flowers in the foreground, daffodils and tulips in the middle, and alliums in the background to create height.
Watering & care
- Watering: moderate after planting, then let nature take its course in autumn and winter
- Frequency: water after planting, then only if the weather is very dry
- Drainage: essential — avoid waterlogged soil that causes bulbs to rot
- Fertilizer: add bulb fertilizer at planting time and after flowering
- After flowering: let the foliage yellow naturally before cutting it back (it feeds the bulb for the next year)
- Winter care: bulbs withstand frost, no special protection needed in open ground
- In pots: protect pots from severe frost or bring them indoors to a cool, dry place
- Non-invasive: these bulbs respect the balance of your garden without spreading excessively
For flowering year after year, always let the foliage naturally fade after flowering — this is how the bulb replenishes its reserves.
Decor ideas & combinations
With 125 varied bulbs from 10 to 40 cm tall, this mix offers a multitude of creative possibilities to beautify your outdoor space and create a romantic and harmonious garden.
- Layered flower bed: recreate the composition in the photo by planting in layers — small flowers in front, daffodils and tulips in the middle, alliums at the back
- Colorful borders: line bulbs along a path or border for a spectacular effect
- Pots and planters: create beautiful arrangements by layering different varieties (lasagna technique)
- Flowering balcony: transform your balcony into a romantic garden with pots overflowing with pink, white, and purple flowers
- Play of heights: take advantage of the different heights (10-40 cm) to create relief and depth
- Harmonious palette: pink, white, and purple create a soft and romantic atmosphere
- To pair with: pansies, primroses, or forget-me-nots to accompany the flowering, evergreen foliage for structure
- Style: perfect for creating a romantic, English cottage, or country garden atmosphere
For a spectacular effect, plant bulbs in layers in a large pot: the largest at the bottom, medium in the middle, small on the surface. This way, you’ll have staggered and generous blooming from February to July.
Verdeia tips
- Plant from September to December: this is the ideal period for blooming from February to July
- Choose partial shade or sun: these bulbs adapt to both exposures
- Ensure good drainage: add sand or clay pellets if your soil retains too much water
- Plant in groups: for a natural and generous effect like in the photo, avoid planting in lines
- Enjoy the long blooming: from February to July, you’ll have flowers for several months
- Create depth: plant tall varieties (alliums) at the back and small flowers in front
- Mark the location: use labels to remember where you planted your bulbs
- Be patient: bulbs need a cold period to bloom — it’s normal to see nothing during winter
A true gift of nature, these 125 assorted bulbs will transform your garden, balcony, or terrace into a romantic floral paradise from February to July.

FAQ – Everything to know before adopting your Verdeia plant
How are my plants prepared before shipping?
All our plants are selected from our European partner nurseries. Before shipping, they are watered, cleaned, and protected with breathable, secure packaging. Each package is designed to ensure your plant arrives in perfect health, without any transport-related stress.
Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Shipping is done within 48 business hours, with tracked delivery within 2 to 5 business days. Delivery costs €5.60 — free for orders over €50. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the package is shipped.
What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
