Exposure & placement
- Ideal exposure: bright light — sunny windowsill facing south or east.
- Tolerates: a few hours of gentle direct sunlight in the morning.
- Avoid: too much shade which shortens blooming and weakens the plant, cold drafts.
- Temperature: 15–25 °C.
The brighter the light, the longer and more abundant the blooming. A well-lit windowsill is the ideal spot.
Watering & care
- Watering: minimal — wait until the soil is completely dry before watering.
- Frequency: about once every 2 weeks on average, less in winter.
- Technique: water from the bottom by soaking the pot for a few minutes, then let it drain well — avoid water on the flowers.
- Drainage: avoid stagnant water in the ceramic — always empty it after watering.
- Fertilizer: liquid fertilizer for flowering plants, once a month during blooming.
Kalanchoe is a succulent — it stores water in its leaves and tolerates missed waterings very well. Overwatering is its only real risk. Check out our complete watering guide to never overwater again.

Verdeia tips
- Remove faded flowers — pinch off flower stems at the base as soon as flowers fade to extend overall flowering and encourage new buds.
- To encourage re-flowering after blooming — place the Kalanchoe in a cool spot (12–15 °C) with shorter nights for 4 to 6 weeks, then return it to bright light. New blooms will appear after a few weeks. Check our care calendar to adjust your care by season.
- Empty the decorative pot after watering — standing water in the decorative pot causes roots to rot quickly. Always water and empty.
- ⚠️ Toxic to pets — Kalanchoe contains substances toxic to cats and dogs. Keep it out of reach of your pets. See our plants and pets guide for suitable alternatives.

Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?

What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
