Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Bingo Blue’ Bio — Dwarf blueberry
🌸 Spring flowering • ☀️ Sun / Partial shade • 🍇 Edible fruits • 🌿 Organically grown
The Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Bingo Blue’ Bio is a charming compact blueberry, ideal for terraces, balconies, or small gardens. Its young light green leaves give way in spring to a light pink flowering, followed by a generous harvest of juicy blueberries with a sweet and fragrant flavor.
Grown organically, this dwarf blueberry combines deliciousness and aesthetics, with decorative foliage and abundant fruiting in a size adapted to urban spaces.
Exposure & location
This small fruit shrub enjoys bright locations, in sun or partial shade. It is suitable for both city terraces and larger gardens.
- Exposure: sun to partial shade.
- Ideal: balcony, terrace, urban vegetable garden, or fruit bed.
- Substrate: ericaceous soil or well-drained acidic soil.
- Temperature: hardy down to −20 °C.
Verdeia tip: pair it with a second blueberry bush to encourage cross-pollination and increase fruit production.
Watering & care
- Watering: regular, to keep the substrate slightly moist without excess.
- Water: rainwater or slightly calcareous, as the plant prefers acidic soils.
- Fertilizer: in spring, with a special fertilizer for small fruits or ericaceous soil.
- Pruning: light after harvest, to aerate the center of the bush.
In summer, mulch the base to keep the soil cool and encourage regular fruiting.
Decor ideas & plant pairings
The ‘Bingo Blue’ blueberry fits perfectly on green terraces and balconies, where it brings both color and deliciousness. Its changing foliage and purple berries decorate the space from spring to autumn.
- To pair with: strawberries, raspberries, or lavenders for a balanced edible garden.
- Ideal pot: large terracotta or wooden container, with good drainage.
- Atmosphere: perfect for a Mediterranean terrace or an urban vegetable garden corner.
Place it in a large pot to create a mini urban orchard within reach.
Verdeia tips
- Plant it in acidic substrate (heath soil) for better growth.
- Water with rainwater to avoid lime that blocks nutrient absorption.
- Place it in the sun to encourage abundant fruiting.
- Mulch the soil to retain moisture during the summer.
- Plant several varieties to improve pollination and production.
Each plant is unique: the photos show an example of its appearance. The density, shape, and color of the foliage naturally change according to the season and light.

Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Shipping is done within 48 business hours, with tracked delivery within 2 to 5 business days. Delivery costs €5.60 — free for orders over €50. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the package is shipped.
What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
