The Hydrangea Teller 'Benxi' is a lacecap hydrangea native to Switzerland, selected in the 1970s at the Wädenswil Federal Research Station in the Teller series — "plate" in German, referring to the flat shape of its inflorescences. Its large white umbels feature two types of flowers: small fertile flowers in the center, surrounded by a crown of large sterile pure white flowers. Delivered with 7 to 12 flower heads per plant, it transforms balconies, terraces, and gardens into a floral composition of very natural elegance.
Vigorous, very hardy and tolerant of partial shade, it is one of the most appreciated summer-flowering shrubs for partially shaded spaces — a rare quality among large flowering plants.
