This assortment brings together miniature succulents from several genera — Echeveria, Crassula, Haworthia, Sedum, Kalanchoe — delivered in Ø5.5 cm nursery pots, reaching a height of 5 to 10 cm. These plants from the arid regions of South Africa, Central America, and Mexico join the Cactus & succulents selection in the catalog.
Their appeal lies in the mix: tight rosettes, bead-like leaves, trailing stems, and shades ranging from blue-green to purple complement one another on the same tray. Quantities range from 3 pieces for a gift to 30 pieces for creating a green wall or filling several containers.
Light & placement
Succulents require as much bright light as possible. In insufficient light, the rosettes loosen, stretch upward, and lose their colorful shades in favor of a uniform pale green.
- Light: bright light to direct sun — south- or west-facing windowsill, without a sheer curtain.
- Placement: windowsill, bright desk, conservatory, open terrarium — also on a sheltered balcony from June to September.
- Temperature: 18 to 30 °C during growth — a cool winter rest between 8 and 12 °C intensifies the colors.
- Soil type: very well-draining cactus potting mix, amended with coarse sand or pumice.
The red, purple, and bluish shades of Echeveria and Sedum develop only in strong light: a plant placed in shade will turn completely green again within a few weeks.
Watering & care
In an Ø5.5 cm pot, the volume of substrate is very small and dries quickly, but excess water remains far more dangerous than forgetting to water. A well-draining substrate is essential in such a small container.
- Watering: very infrequent — every 2 to 3 weeks from April to September, briefly soaking the pot and then allowing it to drain completely.
- Winter: almost complete pause — water at most once a month, or not at all if the room is cool.
- Drainage: essential — never leave standing water in a saucer or closed decorative pot.
- Leaves: keep dry — water that remains in the center of a rosette causes it to rot within a few days.
- Fertilizer: cactus fertilizer diluted to half strength, once a month from May to August only.
- Repotting: after one year into a barely larger pot, allowing the plant to dry for two days before the first watering.
Soft, translucent lower leaves indicate excess water; dry, papery lower leaves, on the other hand, are simply a normal sign of plant aging.

- Water by soaking rather than from above: in a 5.5 cm pot, water poured onto the surface runs off without moistening the root ball and remains in the center of the rosettes. Immerse the pot for two minutes in a small amount of water, then allow it to drain completely.
- Propagate them from a single leaf: a leaf cleanly detached at the base, left to dry for three days and then placed on slightly moist substrate, produces a new plant within a few weeks. This is the simplest way to expand a collection.
- Give them a cool, dry winter: kept for two to three months between 8 and 12 °C without watering, the rosettes tighten and develop their most intense shades the following spring.

Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.

Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
