How long does a Tillandsia live? Several years under good conditions. A well-cared-for Tillandsia — regular misting, weekly soaking, bright indirect light, non-calcareous water — can live 5 years or more. At the end of its life, it produces offsets called stolons that give rise to new plants.

Care — simple but regular
- Light: bright indirect light — near a window, never in direct sunlight.
- Watering: mist the leaves 2 to 3 times per week. In summer or very dry air, increase frequency.
- Soaking: once a week, remove the Tillandsia from its ring and soak it for 30 minutes in non-calcareous water — filtered or rainwater. Gently shake and let air dry before placing it back.
- Drainage: after soaking, turn the plant upside down to drain water from the center — stagnant water inside causes rot.
- Temperature: 15–27 °C (59–81 °F), no frost or cold drafts.
Tap water with lime leaves white deposits on leaves and slows growth. Use filtered or rested water for misting and soaking.

Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.

Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
