Frequently Asked Questions
Do Ficus Benjamina and Microcarpa Moclame have the same needs? Yes, the three varieties in this pack share the same requirements: bright indirect light, moderate watering with the surface drying out between waterings, temperatures between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius, and a fixed location. Only the Twilight needs a bit more light to maintain its creamy white variegation.
Are Ficus plants toxic to cats and dogs? Yes, the sap of Ficus plants is irritating and toxic if ingested by cats and dogs. It can also cause skin irritation on contact. Keep these plants out of reach of your pets.

🌿 Trio of complementary Ficus • 🎨 Dark green, variegated, and round foliage • ☀️ Bright indirect light • 💧 Moderate watering • 🧺 3 Selin baskets included • ⚠️ Toxic to pets
This pack brings together three Ficus with complementary foliage: the Ficus Benjamina Danielle with shiny dark green leaves, the Ficus Benjamina Twilight with cream-white variegated leaves, and the Ficus Microcarpa Moclame with small, round, shiny leaves and a compact habit. Each comes in a natural Selin basket — ready to display.
Three different types of foliage, one single maintenance requirement — that’s the strength of this trio. Find them in our Ficus collection and our large plants selection. Check out our new plant care guide to get started right.
What’s included
- 1 Ficus Benjamina Danielle — Ø21 cm, H95 cm, shiny dark green foliage.
- 1 Ficus Benjamina Twilight — Ø21 cm, H95 cm, cream-white variegated foliage.
- 1 Ficus Microcarpa Moclame — Ø21 cm, H95 cm, small shiny round green leaves.
- 3 natural Selin baskets — one for each plant, included in the pack.
All three plants are delivered in their growing pots, placed inside the Selin baskets — ready to display without any extra accessories.
Light & location
All three Ficus share the same light requirements — making it easy to place and care for them together in the same space.
- Ideal light: bright indirect light — near a large east- or west-facing window.
- Tolerates: light partial shade — but foliage will be less dense and growth slower.
- Avoid: direct sunlight that burns leaves, frequent moves that cause leaf drop.
- Temperature: 18–25 °C, no drafts or sudden changes.
Ficus are fixed-location plants — choose their permanent spot upon arrival and don’t move them afterward. Even slight moves can trigger temporary leaf drop.
Watering & care
- Watering: moderate — let the soil surface dry out between waterings.
- Frequency: about once a week in spring and summer, reduced in winter.
- Drainage: pots must have drainage holes — all three Ficus cannot tolerate standing water.
- Fertilizer: diluted liquid green plant fertilizer every 2 to 4 weeks in spring and summer.
- Cleaning: regularly dust leaves with a damp cloth — dust blocks stomata and reduces photosynthesis.
A slight leaf drop after delivery is normal — it’s the Ficus reacting to the change of environment. Place them directly in their permanent spot and allow 2 to 3 weeks to acclimate. See our watering guide to adjust frequency by season.
Decor ideas & plant combinations
Three distinct foliage types — shiny dark green, cream-white variegated, small round leaves — that together create a harmonious and varied green palette without clashing.
- As a statement trio: lined up in their Selin baskets in a spacious living room or office, the three Ficus create a structured and elegant green backdrop.
- In a composition: pair them with a Spathiphyllum or Dracaena to densify the arrangement with plants sharing similar needs.
- Without baskets: if you prefer to choose your own decorative pots, see the 3 Ficus Pack without baskets.
The natural Selin baskets create a consistent visual base that unifies the three plants despite their different foliage — harmony comes from repeating the same container.
Verdeia tips
- Never move an established Ficus — this is rule number one. Once acclimated to its spot, a moved Ficus can lose much of its foliage due to stress. Choose the permanent location upon arrival.
- Leaf drop on delivery is normal — all Ficus react to environmental changes with temporary leaf loss. Don’t change location and wait 2 to 3 weeks — foliage will thicken again once acclimated.
- Drafts = falling leaves — Ficus are especially sensitive to cold drafts. Keep them away from poorly insulated windows in winter and air conditioners in summer.
- Twilight needs more light than the others — its cream-white variegated areas contain less chlorophyll. Without enough light, new leaves come out greener and less variegated. Place it in the brightest spot of the three.
- Repot every 2 to 3 years in spring — into a slightly larger pot. Too frequent repotting or too large a pot stresses the plant unnecessarily.
- ⚠️ Toxic to pets — Ficus sap is irritating and toxic if ingested by cats and dogs. Keep out of reach of animals. See our plants and pets guide for suitable alternatives.

Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Shipping is done within 48 business hours, with tracked delivery within 2 to 5 business days. Delivery costs €5.60 — free for orders over €50. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the package is shipped.
What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
