Ficus Benjamina Danielle — Ø21 cm — H95 cm
🌿 Shiny dark green foliage • ☀️ Bright indirect light • 💧 Moderate watering • 🏙️ Large structural plant
The Ficus Benjamina Danielle, also known as the Weeping Fig, is a majestic and elegant tropical plant, recognized for its dense foliage with small shiny dark green leaves. Its graceful drooping habit and glossy foliage create a sophisticated silhouette that brings a refined urban jungle touch to your interior.
Native to the tropical forests of Southeast Asia and Australia, this variety of Ficus Benjamina naturally grows into large trees where it develops its characteristic dense foliage. Its small shiny oval leaves elegantly catch the light, creating a soothing play of shadows and light. With its impressive height of 95 cm, it becomes the centerpiece of your urban jungle, perfect for dressing a living room, entrance, or spacious office with elegance and serenity.
Exposure & Location
The Ficus Benjamina Danielle loves bright indirect light to develop dense and shiny foliage. The brighter the light, the lusher its foliage will be.
- Exposure: bright indirect light to partial shade.
- Ideal: spacious living room, bright entrance, office, or room corner near a window.
- Temperature: 18 to 25 °C, without sudden changes.
- Substrate: rich, light, and well-drained (green plant potting soil + perlite).
Verdeia tip: give it enough space so its dense foliage can spread harmoniously in your urban jungle.
Watering & Care
- Watering: moderate; let the surface of the substrate dry slightly between waterings.
- Drainage: essential to avoid root rot — use a pot with drainage holes.
- Humidity: appreciates a slightly humid atmosphere; occasionally mist the foliage.
- Fertilizer: every 3 weeks in spring and summer, with diluted liquid fertilizer.
- Winter rest: reduce watering in autumn and winter.
Regularly clean the small leaves with a damp cloth to preserve their shiny glow and promote photosynthesis.
Decor Ideas & Plant Combinations
With its imposing stature and shiny dark green foliage, the Ficus Benjamina Danielle instantly becomes the centerpiece of your urban jungle. It structures the space with elegance and brings a calming plant presence.
- To pair with: Monstera (cut foliage), Alocasia (graphic leaves), Philodendron (shiny leaves), or small plants at the base to create a layered and contrasting urban jungle.
- Ideal pot: large matte ceramic decorative pot, terracotta, or XXL natural fiber basket.
- Urban jungle atmosphere: perfect to structure a living room, dress an entrance, or create a calming jungle corner in an office.
Place it in a room corner or near a sofa to create a spectacular and elegant plant focal point in your urban jungle.
Verdeia Tips
- Avoid frequent moves: the Ficus can lose leaves when stressed.
- Maintain bright light for dense and shiny foliage — growth slows in shade.
- Repot every 2 to 3 years in spring into a slightly larger pot.
- If some leaves fall during relocation, it’s normal — the plant is adapting.
- Rotate the pot regularly for balanced growth towards the light.

How are my plants prepared before shipping?
All our plants are selected from our European partner nurseries. Before shipping, they are watered, cleaned, and protected with breathable, secure packaging. Each package is designed to ensure your plant arrives in perfect health, without any transport-related stress.
Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Shipping is done within 48 business hours, with tracked delivery within 2 to 5 business days. Delivery costs €5.60 — free for orders over €50. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the package is shipped.
What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
