Can a chrysanthemum be kept after it has finished flowering? Yes — prune the plant a few centimeters above the soil after flowering and keep it in a cool, bright place to get new blooms the following year.
Is the chrysanthemum an indoor or outdoor plant? It adapts to both: indoors in a bright spot or on a sheltered balcony or terrace, provided it is protected from frost and heavy rain.

🌸 Generous and colorful blooming • ☀️ Bright light to partial shade • 💧 Regular watering • 🏡 Indoor & sheltered outdoor • 🌿 Easy flowering plant • 📏 H26 cm | Pot Ø12 cm
Originating from Asia, the Chrysanthemum 'Brave' is a generous and colorful flowering plant, known for its abundant blooms that bring warmth and vitality to your space. Its delicate flowers with tightly packed petals create a striking visual effect, perfect for indoor flowering plants as well as balconies.
Slightly toxic if ingested by pets, it should be kept out of their reach. This compact variety, traditionally associated with joy and longevity, is ideal for those who love generous and easy-to-care-for blooms.
Exposure & Location
The Chrysanthemum 'Brave' enjoys bright light to partial shade to maintain generous and prolonged blooming. It adapts well to both indoor and sheltered outdoor settings.
- Exposure: bright light to partial shade, tolerates a few hours of gentle sun.
- Ideal: bright windowsill, sheltered balcony, covered terrace, or bright living room.
- Temperature: 12 to 20 °C — prefers coolness to extend blooming.
- Substrate: well-drained and rich in organic matter.
Watering & Care
- Watering: regular — keep the substrate slightly moist without excess water.
- Drainage: essential — use a pot with drainage holes and a saucer.
- Humidity: prefers moderate humidity, avoid very dry air.
- Fertilizer: every 2 weeks during blooming with a liquid fertilizer for flowering plants.
- Care: regularly remove faded flowers to encourage new blooms.

Decoration Ideas & Plant Combinations
The Chrysanthemum 'Brave' brings an explosion of color in autumn and winter, when most plants go dormant. Display it prominently — windowsill, entrance, coffee table — where it will catch the eye first.
- Autumn arrangement: pair it with a red Cyclamen and a Kalanchoe in three identical pots lined up — same size range, complementary colors, simultaneous blooming.
- Foliage contrast: a trailing Asparagus or a Nephrolepis in the background adds lightness and highlights the chrysanthemum’s tight flowers.
- Recommended pot: a terracotta or burgundy ceramic — avoid white which dulls the warmth of the blooms.
Verdeia Tips
- Keep it cool: a temperature between 12 and 18 °C, away from radiators and warm drafts, significantly extends blooming time.
- Remove faded flowers: regularly take them off as they fade to encourage new flower buds.
- Keep after blooming: prune the plant a few centimeters above the soil after blooming and keep it in a cool, bright place for regrowth the following year.

Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Shipping is done within 48 business hours, with tracked delivery within 2 to 5 business days. Delivery costs €5.60 — free for orders over €50. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the package is shipped.
What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
