Orders & Delivery
What are the delivery times for buying a plant online?
At Verdeia, each order is carefully prepared within 24 to 48 business hours. Home delivery then takes place on average within 2 to 5 business days, depending on the destination and time of year.
Our plants travel in protective, breathable, and eco-designed packaging, specially designed for plant transport: protection of foliage, pot stability, humidity regulation, and shock absorption.
Our priority: that your plants arrive fresh, in great shape, and ready to thrive at your home 🌱
Which countries do you deliver to?
Verdeia delivers to 26 countries in the European Union 🇪🇺: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.
Important Deliveries are made only to home addresses, by carriers specialized in transporting live plants, to ensure their safety and freshness.
How much does delivery cost?
- Free delivery from €70 purchase 🌿
- €9.90 flat fee for any order below this amount.
These fees cover the preparation, secure packaging, and tracked transport from our partner greenhouses located in the Netherlands, France, and Spain. Our rates are clear and transparent, with no hidden fees.
How do I track my order?
As soon as the shipment is made, you receive a confirmation email with a tracking link allowing you to track your package in real time up to your door. This link is also accessible from your Verdeia customer account.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
If your plant suffered during transport, don't worry 🌸 Contact us within 48 hours at hello@verdeia.eu, attaching one or more photos of the plant and the package.
Depending on the situation, we will offer you:
- ✅ a free replacement (subject to availability),
- ✅ a full or partial refund,
- ✅ or personalized advice to help the plant recover from the journey.
Each situation is handled quickly, humanely, and individually.
Can I group several plants in the same order?
Yes 🌿 We group your items in a single shipment when possible, to limit environmental impact and ensure simultaneous delivery. If some products require separate shipping (large plants, fragile pots…), you will be informed at shipment.
Do you ship on holidays or weekends?
Shipments take place Monday to Friday (business days) to avoid plants being stored in warehouses over the weekend. Orders placed after Friday noon are shipped the following Monday.

Which easy-care plants can I buy online?
Verdeia selects plants designed for urban life, whether they thrive indoors, on a balcony, a terrace, a patio, or in a small urban garden. All are robust, easy to maintain, and able to adapt to city life, even when space or light is limited.

Each product sheet details their needs in light, watering, and temperature, so you can create your own urban jungle stress-free, whether in your living room, on your balcony, terrace, patio, or in a small urban garden 🌿
Are there plants non-toxic to animals?
Yes 🐾 Verdeia offers a category dedicated to “pet-safe” plants, grouping varieties non-toxic to cats and dogs. You can thus green your interior and exterior spaces with peace of mind.
How to choose a plant for my balcony, terrace, or urban garden?
Our outdoor plants are classified according to:
- their ideal exposure (sun, partial shade, shade),
- their resistance to wind and heat,
- and the type of space (balcony, terrace, patio, or small garden).
You can easily create a green corner adapted to urban life, even on just a few square meters 🌿
Are your plants delivered with a pot?
Most of our plants are delivered in their growing pot, ready to be repotted or simply slipped into a decorative pot cover.
We prioritize recyclable and durable materials, and also offer:
- assorted decorative pot covers,
- plants already presented in a decorative pot, ready to find their place in your home,
- as well as a selection of pots, cache-pots, and accessories available in our Accessoires & Déco végétale category 🪴

Where do your plants come from?
Verdeia collaborates with recognized European nurseries known for their expertise and sustainable practices. Our plants mainly come from greenhouses located in the Netherlands, the heart of European horticultural production, as well as from France, Spain, and Italy depending on the varieties.
This proximity ensures:
- optimal freshness,
- reduced transport times,
- and a better adaptation to the European climate.

What payment methods are available?
We accept the following secure and fast payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Bancontact, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Klarna, Shop Pay, and Union Pay.
All transactions are protected by SSL encryption and processed through certified partners to ensure the confidentiality and security of your data.
Can I get an invoice?
Yes, your invoice is sent automatically by email once payment is confirmed. It remains available anytime from your Verdeia customer account.

How to care for a plant purchased from Verdeia?

What should I do if my plant seems tired after delivery?
Mild stress is normal after transport. Place the plant in a bright spot without direct sunlight, let it adapt for a few days, and water lightly.
If it shows worrying signs, contact us within 48 h with a photo: we will offer you a replacement, a refund or personalized advice depending on the situation.
