🌿 White and green variegated heart-shaped leaves • 🌤️ Indirect light / Partial shade • 💧 Moderate watering • 🌱 Ultra easy • 📏 H15 cm | Pot Ø12 cm
The Scindapsus N'Joy, also known as Variegated Pothos, is a cultivar of Epipremnum aureum native to Southeast Asia - its small heart-shaped leaves, delicately variegated with creamy white and light green, give it a distinctive graphic lightness compared with other Pothos varieties. Its initially compact form becomes trailing or climbing over time. A reliable choice among trailing plants and easy-care plants.
Its exceptional resilience makes it one of the most recommended plants for beginners, among the ideal plants for getting started.
Light & placement
Scindapsus N'Joy thrives in soft to medium indirect light - the more light it receives (without direct sun), the more pronounced the white and green contrast of its variegation. In partial shade, the leaves gradually become greener.
- Light: indirect light to bright partial shade - avoid direct sun.
- Ideal for: shelves, desks, consoles, kitchens or bright bathrooms.
- Temperature: 18 to 26 °C, away from cold drafts.
- Substrate: light, well-draining, slightly enriched potting soil.
Watering & care
- Watering: moderate - let the first few centimetres of potting soil dry out before watering again. Scindapsus N'Joy tolerates missed watering better than excess water. This tolerance for occasional neglect makes it one of the easy-care plants.
- Frequency: approximately once a week in summer, less often in winter.
- Drainage: essential - never leave standing water in the saucer.
- Fertiliser: apply a light monthly feed during the growing season.
- Pruning: pinch the stems to encourage a compact shape and new growth.
Decor ideas & plant combinations
Its small white and green variegated leaves bring lightness and brightness to a plant arrangement - they contrast beautifully with broad, dark foliage. It also looks wonderful displayed in a hanging planter, like all trailing plants.
- In a Pothos trio: pair it with Epipremnum Golden, with its yellow and green leaves, and Epipremnum Marble Queen, with its marbled foliage - three cultivars from the same genus, three expressions of variegation, and the same minimal care.
- In a small-format arrangement: pair it with a Pilea Mojito with silvery patterns and a Philodendron Birkin with white stripes - three compact plants with variegated foliage, all following the same easy-care approach.
- Decorative pot: white or beige ceramic, or textured stoneware, highlights the lightness of the variegation without making it feel heavy.
Verdeia tips
- More light = more white: place it in the brightest available spot without direct sun - the white and green contrast of the variegation intensifies with light and gradually fades in partial shade.
- Rotate the pot regularly: monthly rotation ensures even growth - otherwise, the stems lean towards the light from one side and the silhouette becomes unbalanced.
- Let it trail freely: placed on a high shelf or console, its stems naturally trail over time, creating a light, graphic and highly decorative plant cascade.

Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Orders ship within 48 working hours, with tracked delivery in 2 to 5 working days via DPD. Shipping costs and the free-shipping threshold depend on your country — see our delivery page. You receive a tracking link as soon as your parcel leaves.
What should I do when my plant arrives?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What should I do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
