Frequently asked questions
Can the Capi Nature Skin pot be left outside all year round? Yes — the Capi composite material is specifically designed to withstand frost, UV rays, and temperature changes without cracking or fading. Unlike ceramic, which can crack from frost, this pot can stay outside all year without special care.
Is the Capi Nature Skin pot a planting pot or a decorative pot? It is a planting pot with an integrated drainage hole — you can plant directly in it with suitable substrate. Place a saucer underneath to protect your surfaces. If you want to use it as a decorative pot, simply insert your perforated planting pot inside.

⚫ Deep anthracite • 🎨 Unique cracked "skin" texture • 🌿 Indoor & outdoor • ❄️ Frost and UV resistant • 🪶 Ultra-light composite material • 💧 Integrated drainage hole • 📐 3 sizes — Ø14 to Ø24 cm
The Capi Nature Skin anthracite Pot stands out with its unique cracked "skin" texture — small irregular raised rectangles and squares reminiscent of cracked leather or reptile skin. This texture creates changing patterns of shade and light that give the pot a distinctive sculptural character. Its deep, almost black anthracite shade enhances the graphic, sophisticated effect.
Designed by Capi Europe from durable, ultra-light composite material, with an integrated drainage hole. 3 sizes available (Ø14, Ø17 and Ø24 cm). Pair it with elegant pots and decorative pots.
Size guide
This is a nursery pot with a drainage hole — plant directly in it or insert your nursery pot:
- Ø14 cm: small plants, Pilea, Peperomia, compact Calathea.
- Ø17 cm: medium-sized plants, Calathea, Maranta, ferns.
- Ø24 cm: large plants — Monstera deliciosa, Philodendron Imperial, Alocasia.
Add a layer of clay pebbles to the bottom before the substrate to optimize drainage and prevent waterlogged roots.
Decor ideas & pairings
Its unique cracked texture immediately sets it apart from all smooth pots — it is a decorative object in its own right that adds relief and depth to a plant arrangement.
- Pairing: combine it with the Capi Nature Groove taupe — two different textures in complementary neutral tones create a rich composition without visual overload.
- Style: Contemporary / Industrial / Minimalist — the deep anthracite creates a striking contrast with all green, variegated or silvery foliage.
- As a set: line up all 3 sizes for a structured gallery effect — the same texture in varied formats creates a cohesive, sophisticated collection.
Verdeia tips
- Ultra-light despite its robust appearance — Capi composite material is up to 5 times lighter than a ceramic or terracotta pot of the same size. This lightness is particularly useful for large formats (Ø24 cm) or balconies with load restrictions.
- The cracked texture changes with the light — in full sun or under side lighting, the irregular relief creates changing patterns of shade and light that alter the pot's appearance throughout the day. Make the most of it by positioning the pot where the light best highlights it.
- Integrated drainage hole — this pot is designed for direct planting with a suitable substrate. Place a saucer underneath to protect your surfaces, or use the supports provided to raise the pot slightly outdoors.
- Outdoor resistant all year round — Capi composite resists frost, UV rays and temperature fluctuations without cracking or fading. It can remain outdoors all year round without any special maintenance.

Our Verdeia commitments
FAQ – Everything to know before adopting your Verdeia plant
How are my plants prepared before shipping?
All our plants are selected from our European partner nurseries. Before shipping, they are watered, cleaned, and protected with breathable, secure packaging. Each package is designed to ensure your plant arrives in perfect health, without any transport-related stress.
Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Orders ship within 48 working hours, with tracked delivery in 2 to 5 working days via DPD. Shipping costs and the free-shipping threshold depend on your country — see our delivery page. You receive a tracking link as soon as your parcel leaves.
What should I do when my plant arrives?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What should I do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
