Ctenanthe setosa — Silver peacock plant — Ø17 cm — H60 cm
🌿 Graphic & detoxifying • 🌤️ Partial shade / Bright indoors • 💧 Moderate watering • 🌱 Velvety and silvery foliage
The Ctenanthe setosa, also called the silver peacock plant, captivates with its spectacular foliage featuring contrasting patterns: deep green on top, purplish underneath. Native to the tropical forests of Brazil, it belongs to the Marantaceae family, like Calathea and Maranta, known for their elegant and moving leaves.
Indoors, the Ctenanthe brings a tropical and calming atmosphere. Its vibrant foliage catches the light and creates a natural play of textures, ideal for greening a living room or reading corner.
