The warranty covers: damage related to transport, severely weakened plant upon arrival, preparation errors. Not covered: damage occurring after several days of acclimation or due to improper care.

Verdeia tips
- Upon receipt, take the plant out of its box and allow it 24 to 48 hours to acclimate in a bright place without direct sunlight.
- Check the soil moisture before watering; add a little water only if the surface is dry.
- Avoid heat sources and drafts, and keep a slightly humid atmosphere to preserve the beauty of the foliage.
- Wait 2 to 3 weeks before any repotting, allowing the plant time to stabilize.
- Gently wipe the leaves to remove dust and observe them: slight stress during the first few days is completely normal.

Asplenium nidus — Bird's Nest Fern
The Asplenium nidus, also called bird's nest fern, forms a rosette of shiny apple green leaves that curl from the center, like a nest. It is a tropical plant with a lush appearance, perfect for giving an immediate fresh feeling to your interior.
It loves apartment atmospheres: soft light, no direct sun, a bit of humidity — it was made for the bright bathroom, zen bedroom, or cozy office.
Exposure & location
The Asplenium prefers indirect light, soft to medium, without direct sun. Strong sun can burn its delicate fronds.
- Ideal: bright but shaded room, shelf near a north or east window.
- Perfect in: bright bathroom, warm kitchen, slightly shaded reading nook.
- Outdoors: possible in summer on a shaded balcony, sheltered from dry wind.
Verdeia tip: avoid direct air flows (AC, blowing heater), it hates that.
Watering & care
- Watering: regular but light. The soil should remain slightly moist, never soggy.
- Where to water: water the soil around the plant, not directly in the center of the rosette.
- Humidity: it loves humid air: gentle misting 1 to 2 times per week.
- Easy care: simply remove damaged fronds at the base.
- Level: easy → ideal for beginners who want a tropical look without hassle.
In winter, space out watering but continue to ensure good ambient humidity.

- Repotting: every 1 to 2 years, in spring, in a pot just slightly bigger. It likes to be a bit cramped at first.
- Substrate: light and airy soil, rich in organic matter and well draining.
- Dry leaf edges: air too dry → move it closer to a humidity source (bright bathroom).
- Yellowing leaves: often too much stagnant water → let dry a bit more between waterings.
Wipe leaves with a soft damp cloth: it prevents dust and keeps the “tropical shine” effect.

All our plants are carefully selected from our European partner producers.
Before shipping, they are watered, cleaned, and protected by breathable and secure packaging.
Each package is designed to ensure that your plant arrives in perfect health and without stress related to transport.
Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos shown are true to the variety and the announced size (pot diameter and approximate height).
Each plant being unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or shade may exist — that is what makes them so charming!
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Shipping is done within 48 business hours, with tracked delivery throughout Europe.
Plants are shipped from Monday to Wednesday to prevent them from being stuck over the weekend.
You receive a tracking link as soon as the package is dispatched.
What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package upon receipt, carefully remove the plant from its packaging and let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering it.
If it has slightly suffered from transport, it will quickly regain its shape after one or two days in the light.
Can I put this plant outside?
It depends on the species. Most indoor plants prefer a bright place without direct sunlight, while outdoor plants like more direct light.
Refer to the exposure advice in the product description to know if it is suitable for a balcony, a terrace, or indoors.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
If your plant appears to have suffered during transport, contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the problem.
Our team will take the time to assess the situation and find the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.

Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, we do not accept standard returns.
However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge.
