Exposure & location
The Sansevieria thrives equally well in bright interiors and darker corners. It perfectly tolerates temperature variations and missed waterings.
- Exposure: bright light to partial shade, without prolonged direct sunlight.
- Temperature: 18 to 30 °C, without cold drafts.
- Suitable for dry rooms as well as office environments.
Verdeia Tip: combine several Sansevierias of varying sizes in matching pots for a harmonious and graphic architectural look.
Watering & maintenance
Almost indestructible plant, the Sansevieria Laurentii requires very little water and no special care. Its secret to longevity: well-drained soil and measured watering.
- Water moderately and let the soil dry out between waterings.
- In winter: watering every 3 to 4 weeks is sufficient.
- Wipe the leaves with a soft cloth to maintain their shine.
- Repot every 2 to 3 years in a well-draining substrate.
⚠️ Warning: Sansevieria is sensitive to excess water. Too much moisture can cause its roots to rot.
