The Spathiphyllum ‘Torelli’, better known as the Peace Lily, is an iconic indoor plant that combines grace and well-being. Its deep green leaves contrast with its white, pure, and slender spathes, symbols of serenity and balance.
Native to the tropical forests of Central and South America, the Spathiphyllum thrives in soft, filtered light. A true wellness ally, it naturally purifies the air while bringing a calming touch to any urban space.

The Spathiphyllum prefers indirect light, even partial shade. It adapts well to rooms with medium brightness, away from direct sun rays that can burn its delicate leaves.

- Ideal: living room, bedroom, or office with filtered light.
- Temperature: between 16 and 25 °C, without cold drafts.
- Substrate: rich and well-drained, composed of potting soil and coconut fiber.
Verdeia tip: the softer the light, the more regular the flowering and the leaves a bright green.
Watering & care
- Watering: regular; the substrate should remain slightly moist but never soggy.
- Frequency: about once a week, more often in warm periods.
- Care: clean the leaves with a damp cloth to restore their shine.
- Fertilizer: every 3–4 weeks in spring and summer to encourage flowering.
- Repotting: about every 2 years, in spring, into a slightly larger pot.
The Spathiphyllum shows its needs: its leaves slightly curl when thirsty, then straighten after watering.
