Verdeia tips
  • Upon receipt, take the plant out of its box and allow it 24 to 48 hours to acclimate in a bright place without direct sunlight.
  • Check the soil moisture before watering; add a little water only if the surface is dry.
  • Avoid heat sources and drafts, and keep a slightly humid atmosphere to preserve the beauty of the foliage.
  • Wait 2 to 3 weeks before any repotting, allowing the plant time to stabilize.
  • Gently wipe the leaves to remove dust and observe them: slight stress during the first few days is completely normal.

    Verdeia Tips

    • Avoid moving your Philodendron too often: it likes stability and takes time to acclimate to a new environment.
    • Place it in a bright space but without direct sunlight, to preserve the sharpness of its variegation.
    • A lack of light can dull the white areas; so make sure to provide it with soft and consistent brightness.
    • Regularly mist the foliage to maintain ambient humidity close to its tropical habitat.
    • Place a tray of wet clay beads under the pot to create a microclimate favorable to growth.
    • Clean the leaves once a month with a slightly damp soft cloth to promote breathing and shine.
    • Observe its new shoots: their shapes and colors evolve throughout the seasons, revealing the unique character of each plant.
