Frequently asked questions
Can a dwarf indoor rose be planted outdoors in the ground after blooming? Yes — once blooming is over, the dwarf rose can be planted outdoors in the ground or in an outdoor container. Gradually acclimate it by exposing it a few hours a day outside before planting it permanently to avoid thermal shock.
Why do the buds on my rose fall off before opening? Bud drop is almost always caused by air that is too dry, excessive heat near a radiator, or lack of light. Move the plant away from any direct heat source and make sure it receives bright daily light — an east-facing window is ideal.

Discover our other colors too: pale pink miniature rose in celadon ceramic and white miniature rose in white ceramic. A beautiful choice among flowering indoor plants and plant gifts.
Light & placement
The pale pink miniature rose needs plenty of light to maintain its flowering. A bright window without harsh midday sun is the ideal location.
- Light: bright light with gentle morning or late-afternoon sun — avoid full midday sun.
- Ideal: east-facing windowsill, bright desk, table near a window.
- Temperature: 18 to 24 °C, protected from cold drafts and direct heat sources.
Turn the pot a quarter turn each week for even growth and balanced flowering across the entire plant.
Watering & care
The miniature rose prefers fresh soil — neither waterlogged nor completely dry. Always water at the base, never on the flowers. Proper watering should follow how quickly the substrate dries.
- Watering: regular — keep the substrate slightly moist without excess.
- Method: water at the base — moisture on the pale pink petals stains them and causes them to turn brown prematurely.
- Drainage: avoid standing water at the bottom of the pot to protect the roots.
- Flowering: remove faded flowers regularly to encourage new buds.
- Fertilizer: use fertilizer for roses or flowering plants every 2 weeks in spring and summer.
Preferably water in the morning so the foliage can dry naturally during the day — nighttime moisture on the leaves encourages fungal diseases.
Decor ideas & plant pairings
The pink-on-pink monochromatic palette of this set — flowers and pot in the same pastel tones — creates an instantly romantic and cohesive arrangement.
- Pairing: pair it with a white Anthurium for a soft contrast between pale pink and pure white, or with a pink Kalanchoe to enhance the floral palette in warm tones.
- Pot included: the ribbed pale pink ceramic pot is included — the set is ready to display without adding anything else.
- Atmosphere: perfect on a bedside table, entryway console or reading nook — its monochrome pink palette creates a soft, soothing atmosphere ideal for romantic or Scandinavian interiors.
Verdeia tips
- Bright light for regular flowering — place it in the brightest available spot, near an east- or west-facing window. Without enough light, the buds will not open and flowering will stop quickly.
- Remove faded flowers consistently — cut just above the first set of leaves with five leaflets as soon as the flower begins to fade. New buds will appear within 2 to 4 weeks. Plan the cycles with the indoor plant flowering calendar.
- Water at the base, never on the flowers — the pale pink petals are particularly sensitive to direct moisture. Use a narrow-spout watering can to water directly at the base, without splashing the foliage or flowers.
- Keep it away from heat sources — radiators and electronic devices quickly dry out the buds before they even open. A stable location at 18–22 °C, away from direct heat, preserves the flowering for longer.

FAQ – Everything to know before adopting your Verdeia plant
How are my plants prepared before shipping?
All our plants are selected from our European partner nurseries. Before shipping, they are watered, cleaned, and protected with breathable, secure packaging. Each package is designed to ensure your plant arrives in perfect health, without any transport-related stress.
Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Orders ship within 48 working hours, with tracked delivery in 2 to 5 working days via DPD. Shipping costs and the free-shipping threshold depend on your country — see our delivery page. You receive a tracking link as soon as your parcel leaves.
What should I do when my plant arrives?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What should I do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
