What is the difference between a pot and an elegant decorative pot?

Most of our elegant containers are decorative pots without drainage holes. They hold your plant in its original growing pot, protect your surfaces, and allow you to easily change your decor. Some ceramic pots have drainage holes for direct planting; please check the product details.

Are all handmade ceramic decorative pots the same?

No, and that’s their charm! Each handcrafted ceramic piece shows subtle variations in color, texture, and finish due to the firing process. These differences make each decorative pot unique, adding authenticity and character to your urban jungle.

Can I use a fabric decorative pot for all my plants?

Fabric decorative pots are perfect for indoor use with plants in their growing pots. Always place a saucer or water reservoir pot inside to protect the fabric from moisture. They are ideal for light to medium indoor plants (Pothos, Pilea, small Philodendrons).

How can I prevent excess water in a decorative pot without drainage?

Three tips: 1) Water moderately and pour out excess 15 minutes later by tilting the decorative pot. 2) Place 2-3 cm of clay pebbles at the bottom to create a reservoir without contact with the roots. 3) Use a growing pot with an integrated saucer, especially important for fabric or wooden decorative pots.

Are jute baskets moisture-resistant?

Jute baskets are sturdy but must be protected from excessive moisture. Always use a growing pot inside and avoid water overflow. With proper care, they last for years and develop a beautiful natural patina.

Can I mix different materials in my urban jungle?

Absolutely! Mixing ceramic, jute, fabric, and metal creates a rich and eclectic urban jungle. For elegant harmony, maintain color consistency (neutral tones with colorful accents) or style coherence (boho chic, minimalist, industrial). Texture contrast adds depth and visual interest.

How do I choose the color of my elegant decorative pot?

For timeless elegance, favor neutral tones (off-white, pearl gray, beige, matte black) that highlight the foliage. To energize, add sophisticated color touches (terracotta, sage green, petrol blue, burgundy) on 20-30% of your containers. Green foliage stands out beautifully on white ceramic, terracotta, or patinated metal.

Where do your pots and elegant decorative pots come from?

We prioritize European artisans and brands: ceramics from Spain, Portugal, and France; fair-trade jute baskets; fabric decorative pots made in Europe. This approach ensures artisanal quality, durability, and a reduced carbon footprint. Each product page specifies origin and craftsmanship.

What size elegant decorative pot should I choose for my plant?

Measure the diameter of your growing pot and add 2-4 cm. For example: growing pot D12 = decorative pot D14-D16. Pot D17 = decorative pot D20-D22. Pot D21 = decorative pot D24-D27. Also check the height to fully conceal the original pot. Each product page lists exact dimensions.
