Exposure & placement
The Clusia in a tube thrives in bright indirect light — the glass amplifies heat, so avoid direct sun at all costs, as it can burn the plant within a few hours.
- Exposure: bright indirect light to partial shade — avoid direct sun.

- Temperature: 18 to 25 °C, without sudden changes.
Unlike the LED version, this tube requires sufficient natural light to keep the plant healthy — place it near a window without direct exposure.
Watering & care
The cork stopper creates a humid semi-closed microclimate: moisture evaporates, condenses on the walls, and falls back into the water at the bottom. It is one of the easiest products in our catalog to maintain.
- Watering: very little — a few drops of water if the bottom of the tube appears very dry.
- Frequency: approximately once every 2 to 3 months.
- Never do this: overwater — excess water is the only real danger.
- Ventilation: briefly remove the stopper once a month to renew the air.
- Cleaning: wipe the outside of the glass with a soft cloth.
Light condensation on the inner walls is normal — it indicates that the humidity cycle is working. If the walls are heavily fogged, remove the stopper for a few minutes.

- The cork stopper is functional, not just decorative — it regulates air exchange and maintains the humid microclimate inside the tube. Do not replace it with an airtight plastic stopper, which would completely block the gas exchange the plant needs.
- A few drops every 2 to 3 months — check the bottom of the tube: if it is completely dry, add a few drops of water. Otherwise, do nothing. The tube’s semi-closed cycle manages humidity almost autonomously.
- Remove the stopper once a month — even if everything seems perfect, refreshing the air for a few minutes each month keeps the ecosystem healthy and prevents unwanted gases from building up inside the tube.

What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?

Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
