🌿 Small round grey-green leaves • 📏 3 heights: 120, 140 or 180 cm • 🌳 Light, airy silhouette • 🌑 No light or watering needed • 🐾 Non-toxic to pets • ✨ Green all year round
The artificial eucalyptus recreates the recognisable foliage of the blue gum: small round grey-green leaves with a silvery sheen, spread all along the stems. This blend of green and silver gives it a realistic look and a light feel, even up close.
It comes in 120, 140 and 180 cm, with a silhouette that may vary slightly from one height to another. Among our artificial plants, it is one of the brightest: it keeps its leaves and colour all year round, whether in a dark room or an air-conditioned office.
Which height should you choose?
The three heights don't have quite the same silhouette — here's how to choose depending on the spot:
- 120 cm: several stems rising straight from the pot, light foliage. For a bedroom, an entryway or next to an armchair. Delivered in a Ø9 cm pot.
- 140 cm: single twisted trunk, slender tree silhouette. For a living room corner, an office or next to a bookcase. Delivered in a Ø15 cm pot.
- 180 cm: twin trunk and dense foliage. To dress a large corner, a hallway or a reception area with a high ceiling. Delivered in a Ø17 cm pot.
For a more natural green corner, pair two heights: the 180 cm at the back and the 120 cm in front, slightly offset.
Artificial or real eucalyptus?
The artificial eucalyptus brings eucalyptus foliage indoors, where a real plant would lack light: living room, bedroom, hallway, office far from the windows. For a terrace or balcony in full sun, our Eucalyptus gunnii 'Azura' standard remains a safe bet.
Where to place it?
As it needs no light, it can go wherever it makes the most impact, even far from a window.
- Dark rooms: hallway, entryway, windowless bathroom, corner far from the windows.
- Workspaces: office, waiting room, reception, shop window.
- Living spaces: living room, bedroom, dining room, next to a sofa or a bookcase.
- Avoid: prolonged direct sun behind glass, which fades the colours over time, and placing it right next to a radiator.
It is designed for indoor use: on a balcony or terrace, sun and rain would damage its leaves.
Setting up & care
When it arrives, take a few minutes to give it its final shape: that's what makes the difference between a stiff artificial plant and a eucalyptus that looks alive.
- Shaping: spread the sprigs slightly apart and turn the leaves in several directions, at different heights.
- Dusting: a quick pass with a feather duster or soft cloth from time to time.
- Cleaning: a slightly damp cloth over the leaves, then a dry cloth.
- Over time: it lasts from one year to the next, with no repotting or fertiliser.
Tilt a few sprigs forward, like a real plant turning towards the light: the result instantly looks more natural.
Decor ideas & pairings
Its grey-green foliage softens an interior, and it lends itself to arrangements, colors, and textures just like a real plant.
- For a contemporary finish, slip the pot into the Elho B.for Soft Anthracite decorative pot, in Ø16 cm for the 140 cm and Ø18 cm for the 180 cm — the matt anthracite brings out the grey-green of the leaves.
- For a soft feel, dress the 120 cm in the blue-gray decorative pot bag in Ø12 cm — its supple fabric fits snugly around the pot and echoes the silvery sheen of the foliage.
- For a contrast of foliage, place our artificial Ficus lyrata or our artificial Monstera deliciosa next to it — their large deep-green leaves echo the small round leaves of the eucalyptus.
- For a console or table, add a bouquet from our selection of artificial flowers and bouquets, which won't wilt either.
In front of a white wall or a light background, the silvery grey-green of the foliage stands out softly and brightens the room.
Verdeia tips
- Hide the nursery pot: slipped into a decorative pot from our selection of pots and decorative pots, it instantly looks like a real plant.
- Add a top layer: a few clay pebbles or a little moss on top of the pot complete the illusion.
- Create a green corner: explore our full range of artificial plants and flowers to combine different foliage and different heights.

FAQ – Everything to know before adopting your Verdeia plant
How are my plants prepared before shipping?
All our plants are selected from our European partner nurseries. Before shipping, they are watered, cleaned, and protected with breathable, secure packaging. Each package is designed to ensure your plant arrives in perfect health, without any transport-related stress.
Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Orders ship within 48 working hours, with tracked delivery in 2 to 5 working days via DPD. Shipping costs and the free-shipping threshold depend on your country — see our delivery page. You receive a tracking link as soon as your parcel leaves.
What should I do when my plant arrives?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What should I do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
