🌿 Large fiddle-shaped leaves • 📏 3 heights: 90, 120 or 180 cm • 🌳 Textured trunk and branching habit • 🌑 No light or watering needed • 🐾 Non-toxic to pets • ✨ Green all year round
The artificial Ficus lyrata recreates the silhouette of the famous fiddle-leaf fig: large, thick, fiddle-shaped leaves with gently wavy edges and well-defined veins, carried on a textured trunk that branches out into several limbs. The nuanced greens of the foliage give it a realistic look, even up close.
It comes in 90 and 120 cm on a single branching trunk, and in 180 cm with several trunks, like a mature fiddle-leaf fig. Among our artificial plants, it is one of the most striking: it keeps its leaves and colour all year round, whether in a dark room or an air-conditioned office.
Which height should you choose?
The three heights don't have the same silhouette — here's how to choose depending on the spot:
- 90 cm: single trunk that branches out halfway up, full foliage. For a low unit, next to an armchair or in a bedroom. Delivered in a Ø12 cm pot.
- 120 cm: single branching trunk, slender habit, covered in leaves from base to top. For a living room corner, an office or an entryway. Delivered in a Ø14 cm pot.
- 180 cm: several textured trunks and large, tiered foliage. To dress a large corner, a hallway or a reception area with a high ceiling. Delivered in a Ø17 cm pot.
For a more natural green corner, pair two heights: the 180 cm at the back and the 90 cm in front, slightly offset.
Artificial or real Ficus lyrata?
The artificial Ficus lyrata takes over where a real plant would lack light: hallway, windowless bathroom, office far from the windows, holiday home. If your room is very bright and you enjoy watching a plant grow, our Branched Ficus lyrata remains a safe bet.
Where to place it?
As it needs no light, it can go wherever it makes the most impact, even far from a window.
- Dark rooms: hallway, entryway, windowless bathroom, corner far from the windows.
- Workspaces: office, waiting room, reception, shop window.
- Living spaces: living room, bedroom, dining room, next to a sofa or a bookcase.
- Avoid: prolonged direct sun behind glass, which fades the colours over time, and placing it right next to a radiator.
It is designed for indoor use: on a balcony or terrace, sun and rain would damage its leaves.
Setting up & care
When it arrives, take a few minutes to give it its final shape: that's what makes the difference between a stiff artificial plant and a ficus that looks alive.
- Shaping: spread the branches slightly apart and turn the leaves in several directions, at different heights.
- Dusting: a quick pass with a feather duster or soft cloth from time to time.
- Cleaning: a slightly damp cloth over the leaves, then a dry cloth.
- Over time: it lasts from one year to the next, with no repotting or fertiliser.
Tilt a few leaves forward, like a real plant turning towards the light: the result instantly looks more natural.
Decor ideas & pairings
Its large fiddle-shaped leaves bring an instant architectural presence, and it lends itself to arrangements, colors, and textures just like a real plant.
- For an elegant finish, slip the pot of the 90 and 120 cm sizes into the Mayk Lead decorative pot in Ø20 cm — the brushed anthracite metal brings out the deep green of the leaves.
- For a light interior, choose the ELHO Vibes Fold White decorative pot in Ø22 cm — its graphic folds echo the large, wavy leaves.
- For a jungle feel, place our artificial Monstera deliciosa next to it — its split leaves contrast with the solid leaves of the ficus.
- For a console or table, add a bouquet from our selection of artificial flowers and bouquets, which won't wilt either.
On a light floor or blond parquet, the deep green of the leaves stands out sharply and gives the room structure.
Verdeia tips
- Hide the nursery pot: it comes in a black plastic pot; slipped into a decorative pot from our selection of pots and decorative pots, it instantly looks like a real plant.
- Add a top layer: a few clay pebbles or a little moss on top of the pot complete the illusion.
- Create a green corner: explore our full range of artificial plants and flowers to combine different foliage and different heights.

How are my plants prepared before shipping?

Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Orders ship within 48 working hours, with tracked delivery in 2 to 5 working days via DPD. Shipping costs and the free-shipping threshold depend on your country — see our delivery page. You receive a tracking link as soon as your parcel leaves.
What should I do when my plant arrives?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What should I do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
