Why are the leaves of my Alocasia turning yellow? Yellowing of the lower leaves is a natural process — Alocasia constantly renews its foliage. If it is widespread, check the watering (too much or too little), light, and ambient humidity. Remove yellowed leaves cleanly at the base.
Are the Selin baskets waterproof? No — the Selin baskets made of natural fiber are not waterproof. Place a saucer inside each basket before putting the pot in to catch watering water and protect your floor.

This Alocasia pack brings together two varieties of elephant ears with complementary foliage — Alocasia cucullata with large, bright green heart-shaped leaves and Alocasia wentii with dark green leaves and a spectacular purple underside. This pack combines two Alocasia varieties with distinct and complementary visual characteristics:
- Alocasia cucullata — large, heart-shaped, bright green leaves with an elegant upright growth habit. The brighter and fresher of the duo.
- Alocasia wentii — dark green leaves with a spectacular purple underside, creating a unique color contrast. The deeper and more contrasting of the duo.
Cucullata adds brightness, while Wentii brings depth — together they form a naturally balanced arrangement.

- Ideal exposure: bright indirect light to partial shade.
- To avoid: direct sun, which burns the leaves and dulls the purple underside of the Wentii.
- Temperature: 18–25 °C, without sudden fluctuations.
- Humidity: 60-80% recommended - mist regularly.
Place the two plants side by side or slightly offset to create a sense of botanical depth. Its ideal location depends on the balance between light and humidity.
Watering & care
- Watering: regular - keep the substrate slightly moist without waterlogging it.
- Frequency: 1 to 2 times per week in spring and summer, less often in winter.
- Drainage: pots with drainage holes are essential - empty the baskets after watering.
- Humidity: mist the leaves regularly.
- Fertilizer: diluted liquid fertilizer for green plants, every 2-4 weeks in spring and summer.
Slightly drooping leaves indicate that the plant is thirsty - water it and they will quickly perk up. Most problems can be identified quickly with a good diagnosis.

- High humidity is essential — mist the leaves regularly or place a humidifier nearby. Air that is too dry causes brown edges on the leaves of both varieties.
- Older leaves naturally turn yellow — this is normal. Cut them cleanly at the base to maintain vigorous growth. Repotting is part of seasonal care.
- Non-waterproof baskets — insert a saucer inside each basket to collect watering water and protect your floor.

All our plants are selected from our European partner nurseries. Before shipping, they are watered, cleaned, and protected with breathable, secure packaging. Each package is designed to ensure your plant arrives in perfect health, without any transport-related stress.
Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Shipping is done within 48 business hours, with tracked delivery within 2 to 5 business days. Delivery costs €5.60 — free for orders over €50. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the package is shipped.
What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
