Frequently Asked Questions
How to combine colorful foliage plants in an arrangement? Play with contrasts in shapes rather than colors — pair broad leaves with narrow leaves, upright growth with trailing growth. Similar tones (pink, burgundy, cream) create a harmonious arrangement without being too busy.
Are pink foliage plants difficult to care for? No more than green plants — they just need slightly brighter indirect light to keep their colors. Moderate watering and non-limescale water are the two essential rules.

🌸 Tropical trio in pink and green hues • 🌿 3 distinct and complementary foliage types • ☀️ Indirect light • 💧 Moderate watering • 📏 H20 cm | Pot Ø6.5 cm each
The Pink is the New Green trio brings together three tropical plants with complementary pink and green hues — a Syngonium Neon, an Aglaonema Red Zirkon and a Philodendron Pink Princess. Native to the tropical forests of South America and Southeast Asia, these three plants create a colorful, harmonious arrangement that brings vitality and softness to any indoor space. H20 cm | Pot Ø6.5 cm per plant.
Easy to care for. It is also a lovely idea among ready-to-gift plant gifts.
The three plants in the trio
This trio combines three foliage types with very distinct pink and green tones:
- Syngonium Neon — bright pink arrow-shaped leaves and a compact growth habit. The most colorful and brightest of the trio.
- Aglaonema Red Zirkon — leaves in deep red and pink tones. The most intense in color.
- Philodendron Pink Princess — dark green leaves with irregular pink and cream variegation and burgundy stems. The rarest and most graphic.
All three plants have similar needs — indirect light and moderate watering. An easy-to-keep-together trio.
Light & placement
- Ideal exposure: moderate to bright indirect light — pink tones intensify with good brightness.
- Avoid: direct sun, which burns the leaves and fades the pink hues.
- Temperature: 18–26 °C, sheltered from drafts.
- Humidity: they appreciate regular light misting.
Turn the pots regularly so that all sides receive light and the colors remain even. Their ideal placement depends on the balance between light and humidity.
Watering & care
- Watering: moderate — let the surface of the substrate dry out between waterings.
- Frequency: approximately once a week in spring and summer, reduced in winter.
- Water: preferably limescale-free water — limescale can dull the leaves.
- Humidity: lightly mist the foliage.
- Fertilizer: diluted liquid fertilizer for green plants, every 3 weeks in spring and summer.
Watering frequency should be adjusted to the season: more frequent in summer and much less frequent in winter.
Decor ideas & plant pairings
Their complementary pink and green tones create a warm, modern plant arrangement — a colorful thread running through the interior.
- Grouped as a trio: place the three pots together on a shelf or piece of furniture — the “mini pink and green jungle” effect is immediate.
- Separated across several rooms: each plant adds a touch of pink to a different space, creating a colorful thread throughout the apartment.
- As a pairing: enrich the arrangement with a Peperomia Caperata Rosso or a Begonia maculata for a highly colorful tropical shelf.
- Ideal pot: white matte ceramic, beige stoneware or a dusty pink decorative pot to enhance their hues.
Pair with flowering and colorful plants.
Verdeia tips
- Light preserves color — in insufficient light, the pink and red tones gradually fade. Bright indirect light maintains color intensity.
- Avoid limescale — these three plants are sensitive to limescale, which can dull their colorful leaves. Filtered or rainwater is preferable.
- Clean the leaves gently — wiping the leaves with a damp cloth reveals their colors and improves photosynthesis. The right care routine varies with the season, following the care calendar.
- Repot in spring — every 2-3 years in a light, well-draining substrate. These three small plants grow gradually — a slightly larger pot is sufficient each time you repot. Repotting in spring is enough, using a pot only slightly larger.

What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
