The red miniature rose needs good light to maintain its intense flowering. A well-lit window without harsh midday sun is the ideal location.
- Light: bright light with gentle morning or late-afternoon sun — avoid full midday sun, which can dull the color of the petals.
- Ideal: east-facing windowsill, bright desk, table or shelf near a window.
- Temperature: 15 to 24 °C, protected from cold drafts and direct heat sources.
Turn the pot a quarter turn each week for even growth and balanced flowering across the whole plant.
Watering & care
The miniature rose prefers cool, moist soil — neither waterlogged nor completely dry. Always water at the base, never over the flowers. Proper watering depends on how quickly the substrate dries.
