Ctenanthe setosa, also known as the Silver Peacock Plant, stands out from the oppenheimiana variety by its lighter foliage — silver-green on top and purple underneath — with bright highlights that catch soft light. Like all Ctenanthes, it belongs to the Marantaceae family and slightly folds its leaves at night. Native to the tropical forests of Brazil, it brings a calming tropical atmosphere to any interior.
