🌿 Large split leaves with a realistic look • 📏 3 heights: 65, 95 or 120 cm • 🪴 120 cm version on a support pole • 🌑 No light or watering needed • 🐾 Non-toxic to pets • ✨ Green all year round
The artificial Monstera deliciosa recreates the silhouette of the famous Swiss cheese plant: large, heart-shaped green leaves, deeply split at the edges and perforated along the midrib, carried on long, slender stems. Pronounced veins and nuanced greens give it a realistic look, even up close.
It comes in 65 and 95 cm with a bushy habit, and in 120 cm on a support pole, like a mature climbing Monstera. Among our artificial plants, it is the most iconic: it keeps its leaves and colour all year round, whether in a dark room or an air-conditioned office.
Which height should you choose?
The three heights don't have the same silhouette — here's how to choose depending on the spot:
- 65 cm: bushy and compact, around ten leaves on stems that fan out. For a low unit, a console table or next to an armchair. Delivered in a Ø12 cm pot.
- 95 cm: fuller bushy habit with long, slender stems. For a living room corner, a bedroom or an office. Delivered in a Ø13 cm pot.
- 120 cm: upright silhouette on a support pole, covered in leaves from base to top. To dress a large corner, an entryway or a reception area. Delivered in a Ø14 cm pot.
For a more natural green corner, pair two heights: the 120 cm at the back and the 65 cm in front, slightly offset.
Artificial or real Monstera?
The artificial Monstera takes over where a real plant would lack light: hallway, windowless bathroom, office far from the windows, holiday home. If your room is bright and you enjoy watching a plant grow, our real Monstera Deliciosa (Swiss cheese plant) remains a safe bet, and our easy-care plants need very little.
Where to place it?
As it needs no light, it can go wherever it makes the most impact, even far from a window.
- Dark rooms: hallway, entryway, windowless bathroom, corner far from the windows.
- Workspaces: office, waiting room, reception, shop window.
- Living spaces: living room, bedroom, dining room, next to a sofa or a bookcase.
- Avoid: prolonged direct sun behind glass, which fades the colours over time, and placing it right next to a radiator.
It is designed for indoor use: on a balcony or terrace, sun and rain would damage its leaves.
Setting up & care
When it arrives, take a few minutes to give it its final shape: that's what makes the difference between a stiff artificial plant and a Monstera that looks alive.
- Shaping: its stems bend; spread them apart and turn the leaves in several directions, at different heights.
- Dusting: a quick pass with a feather duster or soft cloth from time to time.
- Cleaning: a slightly damp cloth over the leaves, then a dry cloth.
- Over time: it lasts from one year to the next, with no repotting or fertiliser.
Tilt a few leaves forward, like a real plant turning towards the light: the result instantly looks more natural.
Decor ideas & pairings
Its large split leaves bring an instant tropical feel, and it lends itself to arrangements, colors, and textures just like a real plant.
- For an elegant finish, slip its pot into the Mayk Lead decorative pot in Ø20 cm — the brushed anthracite metal brings out the green of the leaves.
- For a light interior, choose the ELHO Vibes Fold White decorative pot in Ø22 cm — its graphic folds echo the cut-outs of the foliage.
- For a table or console, add a bouquet from our selection of artificial flowers and bouquets, which won't wilt either.
- For a jungle feel, group it with other foliage from our range of artificial plants and flowers, varying the heights.
On a light floor or blond parquet, the deep green of the leaves stands out sharply and gives the room structure.
Verdeia tips
- Hide the nursery pot: it comes in a black plastic pot; slipped into a decorative pot from our selection of pots and decorative pots, it instantly looks like a real plant.
- Add a top layer: a few clay pebbles or a little moss on top of the pot complete the illusion.
- Choose a decorative pot to fit: allow a few centimetres more than the original pot, and a heavy or wide model for the 120 cm, so it stays nice and stable.

FAQ – Everything to know before adopting your Verdeia plant
How are my plants prepared before shipping?
All our plants are selected from our European partner nurseries. Before shipping, they are watered, cleaned, and protected with breathable, secure packaging. Each package is designed to ensure your plant arrives in perfect health, without any transport-related stress.
Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Orders ship within 48 working hours, with tracked delivery in 2 to 5 working days via DPD. Shipping costs and the free-shipping threshold depend on your country — see our delivery page. You receive a tracking link as soon as your parcel leaves.
What should I do when my plant arrives?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What should I do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
