Why are the leaves of my Alocasia turning yellow? Yellowing of the lower leaves is a natural process — Alocasia constantly renews its foliage. If it is widespread, check the watering (too much or too little), light, and ambient humidity. Remove yellowed leaves cleanly at the base.
Are the Selin baskets waterproof? No — the Selin baskets made of natural fiber are not waterproof. Place a saucer inside each basket before putting the pot in to catch watering water and protect your floor.

This Alocasia pack brings together two varieties of Elephant Ear with complementary foliage — the Alocasia cucullata with large shiny heart-shaped green leaves and the Alocasia wentii with dark green leaves and spectacular purple undersides. This pack combines two Alocasia with distinct and complementary visual characters:
- Alocasia cucullata — large shiny heart-shaped green leaves, elegant upright habit. The brightest and freshest of the duo.
- Alocasia wentii — dark green leaves with spectacular purple undersides, a unique color contrast. The deepest and most contrasting of the duo.
The Cucullata brings brightness, the Wentii depth — together they form a naturally balanced arrangement.

- Ideal exposure: bright indirect light to partial shade.
- Avoid: direct sunlight that burns the leaves and dulls the purple underside of the Wentii.
- Temperature: 18–25 °C, without sudden changes.
- Humidity: 60-80% recommended — mist regularly.

Watering & care
- Watering: regular — keep the substrate slightly moist without soaking.
- Frequency: 1 to 2 times per week in spring and summer, reduced in winter.
- Drainage: pots with drainage holes are mandatory — empty the baskets after watering.
- Humidity: mist the leaves regularly.
- Fertilizer: diluted liquid fertilizer for green plants, every 2-4 weeks in spring and summer.

Verdeia tips
- High humidity essential — mist the leaves regularly or place a humidifier nearby. Too dry air causes brown edges on the leaves of both varieties.
- Old leaves naturally yellow — this is a normal phenomenon. Cut them cleanly at the base to maintain vigorous growth. See our repotting guide for seasonal care.

All our plants are selected from our European partner nurseries. Before shipping, they are watered, cleaned, and protected with breathable, secure packaging. Each package is designed to ensure your plant arrives in perfect health, without any transport-related stress.
Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Shipping is done within 48 business hours, with tracked delivery within 2 to 5 business days. Delivery costs €5.60 — free for orders over €50. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the package is shipped.
What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
Since plants are living beings, standard returns are not possible. However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge. For any other cases (order error, decorative pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
