- Ideal exposure: bright indirect light - the Strelitzia tolerates more light than the Monstera.
- Avoid: prolonged direct sun, which can scorch the Monstera's leaves.

The more light the Monstera receives, the more dramatically split and perforated its new leaves will become. Its ideal placement depends on the balance between light and humidity.
