🌸 Pink and white flowers • 🌷 Six complementary species • 🌿 10 to 60 cm depending on the species • 🌤️ Flowers from March to July • ⛅ Sun or light partial shade • ❄️ Hardy • 🔁 Naturalizes and reflowers every year • 📏 Size 10/12 bulbs
This spring bulb mix brings together six species in shades of pink and white: white crocuses, pink glory-of-the-snow, 'Pueblo' daffodils, pink Triumph tulips, Naples garlic and round-headed leek. Planted together in autumn, they bloom in successive waves from March to July, from small white cups at ground level to purple pompoms 50 to 60 cm tall. It is a European horticultural selection, supplied as size 10/12 bulbs for the largest ones.
In beds, borders, pots or lawns, it creates a romantic, luminous picture without you having to match the species yourself. Among our flower bulbs, it is the mix with the longest flowering season; for other shades, discover the blue and white mix or the multicolor mix.
What is in this mix?
- Crocus 'Ard Schenk' — small pure white cups with a golden heart, 8 to 10 cm, in March. It opens the season at ground level.
- Chionodoxa 'Pink Giant' — soft pink stars with a white center, 15 to 20 cm, in March-April. It forms a pink carpet in the foreground.
- Daffodil 'Pueblo' — small, fragrant creamy-white flowers, several per stem, 30 to 35 cm, in April. It brightens the bed in the heart of spring.
- Pink Triumph tulip — large deep pink cups, 40 to 50 cm, in April-May. It adds height at the peak of flowering.
- Naples garlic (Allium neapolitanum) — umbels of fragrant white star-shaped flowers, 30 to 40 cm, in May-June. It takes over from the tulips.
- Round-headed leek (Allium sphaerocephalon) — small oval purple pompoms, 50 to 60 cm, in June-July. It closes the season and attracts butterflies.
Pink and white go with everything: this mix fits as well in a cottage garden as in a more structured bed.
How many bulbs should you choose?
Small and large bulbs share the space: allow about 50 bulbs per square meter, or 20 to 25 bulbs in a pot 40 cm in diameter.
- 125 bulbs: about 2.5 m², or five to six large pots on a balcony or terrace.
- 250 bulbs: about 5 m², for a spring bed or the foot of a hedge.
- 1000 bulbs: about 20 m², to naturalize a lawn, a bank or a light woodland.
The larger the pack, the lower the price per bulb: the 1000 pack works out at about half the price per bulb of the 125 pack.
Planting & location
The bulbs are planted from September to December, as long as the ground is not frozen, for flowers from March to July.
- Exposure: sun or light partial shade; tulips and alliums flower best in full sun.
- Depth: 5 to 8 cm for small bulbs (crocuses, glory-of-the-snow, alliums), 10 to 15 cm for large ones (daffodils, tulips), pointed end up.
- Spacing: 5 cm between small bulbs, 10 cm between large ones; in pots, they can almost touch.
- Soil type: ordinary and well drained; only standing water harms them.
- Hardiness: down to about -15 °C in the ground, like the species in our selection of cold-hardy plants; Naples garlic is the least hardy in the mix.
For a natural effect, pour all the bulbs into a bucket, mix them and plant them at random, simply setting the large ones deeper than the small ones.
Watering & care
In the ground, autumn and spring rain is enough. In pots, use a free-draining potting mix, as explained in our guide to substrates and potting soils, and never let it become waterlogged.
- Watering: low — at planting, then in pots when the surface of the mix is dry, especially when the buds appear.
- Fertilizer: unnecessary in the ground; in pots, use a bulb fertilizer as the leaves emerge.
- Spent flowers: cut them off once withered, so the bulbs keep their energy instead of forming seeds.
- After flowering: let the foliage yellow for six weeks before cutting it back: it feeds the bulbs for the following year.
Crocuses, glory-of-the-snow, daffodils and alliums naturalize year after year; add a few tulips every two or three years to keep the display dense.
Decorating ideas & plant pairings
Its pink and white tones soften the garden at the end of winter and also dress up large pots, as shown in our guide to plants for a sunny balcony.
- For a blue contrast in the foreground, plant Armenian grape hyacinth in front — its bright blue spikes, 15 to 20 cm tall, flower in April, at the same time as the daffodils.
- To strengthen the white, add the white Triumph tulip — its pure white cups, 40 to 50 cm tall, open in April-May, alongside the pink tulips.
- For a terrace version, plant 20 to 25 bulbs in layers in a 40 cm pot — large ones at the bottom, small ones on top, for a pot in flower from March into summer.
At the foot of a rose or a deciduous shrub, the mix flowers before the foliage casts shade and extends the pink palette into summer.
Verdeia tips
- Plant in generous handfuls: for a lavish effect, plant in groups of 10 to 20 bulbs rather than in regular rows.
- Mark the spot: insert a small stake or note the outline of the bed, so you do not damage the bulbs when digging in summer, once the foliage has gone.
- Pick for the vase: tulips, daffodils and alliums make pretty country-style bouquets; cut them in the morning, when the flowers are starting to open.

Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Orders ship within 48 working hours, with tracked delivery in 2 to 5 working days via DPD. Shipping costs and the free-shipping threshold depend on your country — see our delivery page. You receive a tracking link as soon as your parcel leaves.
What should I do when my plant arrives?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What should I do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
