Aloe vera – Purifying succulent plant
🌞 Full sun • 💚 Easy care • 🏙️ Urban jungle • 🪴 Graphic succulent • 🌿 Purifying
The Aloe vera is a mythical plant, both aesthetic, resilient, and beneficial — a true symbol of vitality and nature. Native to the warm and arid regions of the world, this succulent is distinguished by its tender green fleshy leaves capable of storing water to survive drought.
An icon of modern interiors, it fits equally well in a minimalist urban decor or a bohemian and natural atmosphere. Easy to care for and purifying, it radiates a zen and balanced energy at the heart of city spaces.
Exposure & location
Aloe vera enjoys heat and light. It is a succulent that loves full sun and grows even better when it benefits from direct and prolonged exposure.
- Bright light in full sun, perfect near a south- or west-facing window.
- Tolerates heat and dry air of modern apartments very well.
- Can be placed outside in summer (sunny terrace, balcony).
- Ideal temperature: 18–28 °C.
Verdeia Tip: the more intense the light, the more the leaves can take on golden or reddish hues — a natural and decorative phenomenon.
Watering & maintenance
A true champion of drought, Aloe vera prefers lack of water to excess. Its secret? Patience between waterings.
- Water every 2 to 3 weeks when the substrate is well dry.
- In winter, space out waterings to every 4 to 6 weeks.
- Use a well-draining soil mix special for cacti or succulents.
- Absolutely avoid stagnant water in the saucer or planter cover.
- Occasionally wipe the leaves to remove dust and revive their shine.
If its leaves become soft or brown, a simple watering will restore its vigor and tone.
Verdeia Tip: the key to a happy Aloe is to let the soil dry completely between waterings.
Verdeia Tips
- Regularly turn the plant for balanced growth towards the light.
- Use a planter cover slightly larger than the original pot to avoid excessive moisture.
- Repot every 2 to 3 years in spring in a very well-draining mix (potting soil + sand + perlite).
- Avoid spraying the leaves directly: prefer gentle cleaning with a damp cloth.
- Outdoors, bring the plant inside before the first cool nights (below 10 °C).
Benefits & symbolism
Aloe vera is much more than a decorative plant: it embodies strength, resilience, and natural regeneration. Its purifying qualities make it a valuable ally for urban interiors.
- Purifying: improves indoor air quality by filtering certain volatile substances.
- Beneficial: its gel (not intended for domestic use without preparation) is known for its moisturizing and soothing properties.
- Resilient: symbol of vitality and longevity in many cultures.
Decor ideas & pairings
- In a planter cover in terracotta for a warm Mediterranean atmosphere.
- In a matte ceramic pot or concrete for a sleek contemporary style.
- Pair it with succulents like Crassula ovata or Sansevieria trifasciata for a chic desert effect.
- Ideal on a windowsill, a living room table, or a sunny urban terrace.

How are my plants prepared before shipping?

Will the plant look exactly like the photo?
The photos accurately represent the variety and the stated size. Since each plant is unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or color may occur — and that’s part of their charm.
What are the delivery times and conditions?
Shipping is done within 48 business hours, with tracked delivery within 2 to 5 business days. Delivery costs €5.60 — free for orders over €50. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the package is shipped.
What to do upon receiving my plant?
Open your package as soon as you receive it and carefully remove the plant from its packaging. Let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering. If it has been slightly stressed during transport, it will recover its shape after one or two days in the light.
What to do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and offer you the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.
Can I return a plant?
