The Schefflera arboricola 'Nora', also called the Umbrella Tree, unfolds palmate leaves whose leaflets radiate from a central point like the ribs of an umbrella. A horticultural cultivar derived from Schefflera arboricola, the parent species native to the subtropical forests of Taiwan and Hainan Island, it joins the most resilient indoor plants in the catalog.
Its distinctive feature compared with other Schefflera varieties is the contrast between the foliage and the framework: the leaflets are a very deep, dark green and highly glossy, while the stems remain pale green, sometimes almost cream-colored. This contrast outlines the plant's structure and makes it easy to read even from a distance, whereas solid-colored varieties appear as a mass.

- Placement: living room, office, bright entrance, bedroom — away from radiators and drafts.
- Temperature: 16 to 26 °C — minimum 12 °C, sensitive to sudden drops.
